On August 5th, 2023, SoCal Rider Coalition (SCRC) held its inaugural Hideout In The Heat event to benefit Santa Ysabel Reservation Fire Department. Sadly, a couple riders were involved in a serious accident on the 5 Freeway returning home from our event and spent weeks in critical condition at Los Angeles area hospitals.
As SCRC events grow, and we attract more riders from greater distances, we recognize the likelihood of accidents occurring increases. As riders and promoters of large-scale SoCal motorcycle events we must acknowledge the inerrant danger riders face out on the road and be ready to offer help when they go down after attending our events.
Thus, it is with great pride that SCRC introduces the SoCal Rider Coalition | Law Tigers Rider Down Fund. Tax deductible donations to the SCRC Rider Down Fund (a State and Federally recognized nonprofit 501c3 public benefit charity) are designated to offer immediate financial aid ($1,500 per accident / $3,000 aggregate per year) to *registered SCRC riders and their families in the aftermath of accidents that occur following our events.
Additionally, with Law Tiger’s as our 2024 motorcycle event & accident legal partner, injured riders can expect multiple levels of immediate support. Riders who are involved in accidents leaving our events will receive a timely call, immediate legal advice and assistance in their time of need from Law Tigers. This combined benefit further underscores our united commitment for the safety and well-being of riders attending SCRC rides & events.
Donating to the SCRC | Law Tigers Rider Down Fund ensures that SoCal Rider Coalition & Law Tigers stand ready to offer immediate financial and legal assistance to our fallen riders when the need arises.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude in advance for your support and generous donation.
